Mesa State College invites applications for a full-time temporary position in English. Teaching duties include upper & lower division creative writing as well as first-year composition. The teaching load is a minimum of four courses in both the Fall & Spring semesters.
Applicants are expected to have a MA/MFA/PhD (from nationally accredited institution) in creative writing & demonstrated commitment to college-level teaching required. Professional activity desirable. The position includes opportunities for scholarship, service, & academic advising. The position is a full-time temporary position, contract renewable yearly, beginning August 2008. Salary is commensurate with education & experience. Includes excellent health & retirement benefits.
