Poetry student Shannon Carson received her first official publishing credit for the song "Tender Rain" on the new album, Real Good Fire, by San Francisco blues musician Leah Tysse. The song is co-written by Rich Armstrong, best known for his work with Michele Shocked, Thomas Dolby, Boz Scaggs, and Lydia Pense & Coldblood, and is based on a poem Shannon wrote.
